List of Unnamed Characters in Indiana Jones

This is a list of major unnamed characters from the Indiana Jones universe.

1st Mechanic

A hulking bull of a man, this German mechanic serviced the Nazi plane at Tanis, prepping it to fly the Ark of the Covenant to Berlin in 1936. When Indiana Jones attempted to board the plane and fought another mechanic, the big German, bored and itching for some action, challenged Jones to a fistfight - one which the giant German almost won hands down. He would've beaten Jones had not Marion Ravenwood accidentally started the plane moving, and the burly mechanic was chopped to bits by the whirling propellers.

2nd Mechanic

Smaller than his musclebound compatriot, this second German mechanic confronted Indiana Jones at the Tanis airfield first. Wielding a wrench, he served as a prelude to Jones' fight with the larger German. Jones knocked him unconscious, but he later woke up and escaped before the airfield blew up.

2nd Nazi

This plainclothes Nazi agent was one of Toht's henchmen in the Raven bar shootout in 1936. When Indiana Jones and the giant sherpa fought to a standstill, Toht ordered his fellow German to, "Shoot them. Shoot them both." Jones and the sherpa then both shot the Nazi together.

Arab Swordsman

One of many local criminals in Cairo hired by Nazi agents in 1936 to kidnap Marion Ravenwood and eliminate Indiana Jones, this swordsman confronted Jones by himself, challenging him to a duel, displaying some impressive sword moves. More concerned with rescuing Marion, Jones instead simply drew his gun and shot the swordsman. His discarded sword was claimed by an excited bystander.

Pilot

The pilot of the Nazi plane that, in 1936, was scheduled to fly the Ark of the Covenant from Tanis to Berlin. When Indiana Jones fought the mechanic with the wrench, the pilot didn't notice. However when the much larger mechanic appeared and challenged Jones to a fistfight, the pilot overheard and, grabbing a Luger, attempted to assist his countryman by shooting Jones. However he was knocked unconscious by Marion Ravenwood. Subsequently, his body along with the plane was destroyed when he airfield blew up due leaking gasoline coming into contact with an exploded ammo dump.

Sergeant

Following the destruction of both the Nazi plane and the Tanis airfield entirely, Colonel Dietrich decided to drive the Ark of the Covenent to Cairo, and fly it from there to Berlin. This tough sergeant was one of the seven soldiers assigned as "plenty of protection" by Major Gobler, riding in back of the cargo truck with the crated Ark. When Indiana Jones took control of the truck, the soldiers tried climbing out onto the sides, but Jones shook them off. Only the sergeant was smart enough to climb over the top. He regained control of the truck, throwing Jones through the windshield, and tried to crush him between the truck and Dietrich's staff car. Jones however managed to get back inside the cab, and gave the sergeant a taste of his own medicine. He was thrown through the (already broken) windshield and run over.
