Mr. Cavenaugh was the husband of Mrs. Cavenaugh and the father of Andy. He along with his wife were watching The Cisco Kid when their son attempted to sneak out to go and meet Sam Whitemoon. Instead he was attacked and killed by Old Chief Wood'nhead. Mr. Cavenaugh didn't hear his son's death cries over the sound of the TV.

- Presumably, they did later find their son's corpse in the garage.
