Delilah was a woman who was sent by the Philistines to seduce the Israelite hero Samson and learn the secret of his great strength. After he told her three lies about the source of his strength, Samson finally confessed that his strength came from a vow to God never to cut his hair. Afterwards, Delilah betrayed him to the Philistines.
