Zelman

Zelman was the head of an investors' board that consisted of him, Poehler and Farragher and invested in Carl Denham's film. When it became clear (at least in their minds) that Denham could not deliver on his promises, Zelman decided to scrap the project. When Denham ran off with Zelman, Poehler and Farragher's money to film on Skull Island anyway, they sicced the police on him. Yet when Denham returned to New York with a captive King Kong, the three investors changed their tune and dropped the charges against the director.
