Helen Thorne

Dr. Ellen Thorne was a scientist, the wife and colleague of TimeScan inventor Dr. Elias Thorne. She was present with her husband aboard the space station Prometheus during the first test of the revolutionary process, only for everything to go horribly wrong when a violent tremor rocked the station, killing three security officers. The time beam, instead of only focusing on an isolated area on the surface of the Earth, enveloped the entire world, creating a time "tilt." Worse, the dinosaurs which should've only been intangible phantoms on the TimeScan viewer began materializing all over Earth, slaughtering the populace. Helen and her husband worked for forty days struggling to find a means of undoing the damage. Elias was visited in a dream by a reptilian entity he called a Saurian, which told him the true cause of the "tilt," an evil entity known as the Supreme Monstrosity. With this information, Helen's husband was able to quickly work out a means of reversing time and correcting the "tilt." However, the Supreme Monstrosity impossibly reached through the TimeScan viewscreen, seizing the scientist and dragging him through to his hellish realm. As he died in the very grip of the monster, Elias yelled for his wife to complete the computations and then destroy Prometheus. Helen reverse the "tilt," causing the attacking dinosaurs to be ripped violently back in time. Then, setting the space station's nuclear furnace to overload, she escaped aboard a shuttle just before Prometheus exploded, cutting off the Supreme Monstrosity's access to the realm of humans.
