Assassinoids

The Assassinoids were mutated, mechanically enhanced insects created by Dr. Zin using Dr. Belage's research on the prehistoric assassin bugs pseliopus cinctus anticus. Proving to be the most powerful and deadly of Zin's cybernetic insect army, the Assassinoids were not as big and bulky as the Formicoids but they were far stronger and capable of regenerating any body parts they lost. The severed body parts themselves would mutate into larval Assassinoids and soon grow into adults, and in this manner the Assassinoids multiplied and were very difficult to fully kill. They were all only destroyed for good when Zin's asteroid base was blown up, save one larval specimen kept by Dr. Belage for study aboard Quest Station.
