History
Pre-Crisis
The Batmen of All Nations were a team of costumed vigilantes who operated as street level superheroes that had been inspired by Batman. Across the world, the adventures of Batman and Robin had inspired several people to fight for justice and law. One among them was the Ranger from Australia who decided to write a letter to Batman and request a brief training for some of the vigilantes he had inspired. Batman agreed, and soon several heroes from different countries arrived at Gotham City. These included the Ranger, Knight and Squire from England, El Gaucho from Argentina, the Legionary from Italy and the Musketeer from France. All of them together at the Gotham City Police Department Headquarters, where Batman instructed them in some of his most important methods for crime-fighting. The heroes became the main attraction in Gotham when a criminal called "Knots" Cardine decided to start a crime spree like no other before and caused some serious troubles for the newly formed Batmen of all Nations. The combined forces of the foreign heroes were no match for Cardine's organized crimes and they were unable to stop the criminal. However, Batman learnt of Cardine's plans and he managed to take the criminal down thus earning the respect and admiration of his international peers. (Detective Comics v1 #215)
Post-Crisis
Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.
Dr. Hurt, the Black Glove and the club of Villains came to Gotham City to destroy the Batman Family. Robin reached out to Squire for help, and she assembled the Club of Heroes, who traveled to Gotham. The Club saved Robin from Club of Villains members Swagman and Pierrot, saying they were there for the Batman Family in their time of need. The Club said they’d been investigating the Black Glove ever since their encounter with them on John Mayhew’s island, and were closing in. The Club of Villains’ henchmen were running rampant throughout Gotham, and the club of Heroes said they’d handle it, telling Robin to go to Batman. (Batman v1 #681)

Notes
- The Batmen of All Nations was created by Edmond Hamilton and Sheldon Moldoff where it made its first appearance in Detective Comics v1 #215 (January, 1955).
- In Adventure Comics v1 #250 (1958), a similar such group formed around Green Arrow in the Pre-Crisis continuity with these being known as the Green Arrows of the World.

Television
- In Batman: The Brave and the Bold, the Batmen of All Nations appeared in the setting of the animated television series in the episode "Powerless!". In the episode, the Musketeer was voiced by actor Diedrich Bader, El Gaucho by actor Jeff Bennett, and Legionnaire by actor John DiMaggio while Knight, Ranger, Wingman, and Impala had no dialogue. The Batmen of All Nations came to battle the Jokers of All Nations that were a group formed by the Joker which consisted of unnamed Jokerized versions of an Inuit, a Canadian hockey player, a Scotsman, a Cossack, and a Sumo wrestler. Additionally, the Club of Villains made a non-speaking cameo appearance in the episode "The Knights of Tomorrow!", consisting of Pierrot Lunaire, El Sombrero, Swagman, King Kraken, Charlie Caligula, and Scorpiana.
