Broodlings

Broodlings are a short-lived, slightly weaker form of Zergling created by Zerg Queens who implant chosen non-Zerg targets. Two Broodlings are explosively born from each given victim, and die only a few moments thereafter. Broodlings are usually used as a sort of surprise attack, with a Queen implanting several victims in the midst of a crowd.
