Biography
Angelina Alcott
Angelina Alcott came to be a MI-6 agent where she was the secret service liaison and spycraft instructor to novice trainee Colin King. While training, the two begin a secret affair. Colin fails an assignment against an assassin named Xaman, a follower of the Undead Monk. The next night when Angelina and Colin are having sex, several gunmen hired by Xaman attack them, and Colin believes that Angelina is killed. He continues his training under Angelina's father.
Angelina is not dead, however; a group of students of the Undead Monk has taken her to their teacher's monastery, where the hidden benefactor of their order, Master Darque, performs dark magic on her. Awakening with little to no memory of who she was, Roku believes she'd come to their temple searching for her brother. After undergoing a metaphysical surgical procedure which wipes her former life and past self from her conscious memory, she finds herself buried deep beneath the earth, wrapped in bandaging. Suddenly finding that she has total control over her body, she uses her shade-changing hair to tunnel out of the earth, only to find herself within a cave populated by ghouls and demons. Each new demon she encounters asks her a question relating to her old self. She defeats them all and climbs out of a deep dark well. She is met by the Undead Monk's students, who inducted her into their order.
She then had an enchanted nail placed at the base of her neck leading to her 'death' and 'rebirth' where she had to survive through the gauntlet. The nail caused a transformation in her body with her hair going a fiery red as she was reborn as Roku. She then had to wander through the underground caverns where she killed numerous monsters that demanded to know her name where she made her way out to the surface. By this point, she had settled on a name as she met the members of the Shadow Seven who welcomed her into their ranks. (Ninjak v3 #4)
Overview
Personality and attributes
After her rebirth, she came to choose the name Rokurokubi with others simply calling her Roku. (Ninjak v3 #4)
Her old self was said to had been killed and replaced with a new one. (Ninjak v3 #4)
Powers and abilities
She was transformed as a result of an enchanted nail being insert into her neck. This imparted her with the ability to control every cell in her body. (Ninjak v3 #4)
Roku possesses physical abilities far in excess of even the finest human athlete. Collin once stating he knew all the armor and equipment in his arsenal would never be enough for him to contend with her in a prolonged fight.
It was theorised that the follicles had migrated through the skull and into the brain with each section being different and having unique capabilities. (Ninjak v3 #4)
A unique skill she possesses, Roku/Angelina has the innate ability to mentally interact with and disrupt the thought processes of other people with the power of her mind. Through which she has a type of sixth sense in that she can utilize while in combat to glean the thoughts of the enemy while impairing their own sense of awareness.
Roku can project convincing illusions into the minds of anyone and everyone around her to perceive whatever it is she wants them to see.
Her MI-6 skills were trained further and she was trained as an assassin, embracing her life as an agent of the Shadow Seven, more specifically as Kannon's bodyguard.
