Surge Coat

The Surge Coat is a special article of clothing that gives Hard Drive numerous electrical powers when he puts it on. The most useful of these abilities as to transform himself into an electrical current and travel through power lines, making it child's play for him to access even the most heavily secured of facilities. The Surge Coat also gave Hard Drive the power to literally suck data from computers. He could also, naturally, fire searing bolts of electricity from his hands at his enemies. Without the Surge Coat, however, Hard Drive was just a normal kat.
