MEL

MEL (Mechanical Electric Laborer) was a cleaning robot invented by Dr. Axolotl in the hopes of impressing Shere Khan so that he could get a job at Khan Industries, MEL's ability to dust, vacuum, and wash windows left a lot to be desired, as the robot ended up destroying Khan's $3,000 paperweight and his $4,000 tie.

After Axolotl was thrown out, the inventor, in a vengeful fury, reprogrammed MEL to hunt down and kidnap Shere Khan. The robot was made bulletproof and granted the ability of flight by Axolotl, and managed to capture both Khan and Kit Cloudkicker's friend Ernie, whom Axolotl held for ransom. MEL was eventually stopped by Baloo, dressed as comic book hero Bullethead, when he was destroyed by crashing through Khan Tower.
