Sword of Righteousness

The Sword of Righteousness was an enchanted sword which (claimed it had) trained many heroes in the past. Earthworm Jim discovered it in a vending machine sandwich he purchased at the Terlawk Mini-Mart. The Sword of Righteousness promised to teach Jim the ways of the warrior. It took him and Peter Puppy to the Jungle of Justice at the training place to teach Jim to handle its powers. First he assigned him to do the dishes, and other menial tasks, because they needed to be done and he wasn't going to do it. Then it tried to teach Jim the Voice of Dread, the Eye of Terror, and the Portal of Time.

Soon, Psy-Crow appeared with the Orb of Quite Remarkable Power to destroy Jim. Jim whipped the Orb from Psy-Crow's hand, but the Sword told him that "was not the way a hero fights. Give him back his Orb and follow my instructions." Jim lost the battle, and the Sword blamed the defeat on Jim for not following its instructions. They encountered Psy-Crow again as he was destroying Terlawk, and Jim was again losing, when the Sword told him; "Fight better, you idiot! I want to win for once!" Upon learning that the Sword never won a fight, Jim forsake it and threw it into space, where it landed on the Planet of the Easily Frightened People.
