Renegade Time Lords are Time Lords that rejected the traditional way of life on Gallifrey, instead venturing out into the wider universe to seek different paths. Some Renegades are heroes, such as the Doctor and Azmael. Others are simply out for themselves, such as Drax. Still others are villains, such as the Master, the Meddling Monk and the Rani.
