• Power Rangers: c. 4000 BC. Ivan Ooze rules the Earth with his Ectomorphicon Titans until being lured into a hyperlock chamber by a group of young Ranger-like warriors. • Lord of the Rings: c. 3999 BC (IV 43 (SR 1463)). Samwise Gamgee's daughter Goldilocks marries Faramir Took. (The Return of the King)

• Lord of the Rings: c. 3993 BC (IV 49 (SR 1469)). Samwise Gamgee is re-elected Mayor of the Shire for the last time. (The Return of the King)

• Lord of the Rings: c. 3986 BC (IV 56 (SR 1476)). Samwise Gamgee retires as Mayor of the Shire. (The Return of the King)

• Lord of the Rings: c. 3980 BC (IV 62 (SR 1482)). Rose dies; Samwise Gamgee leaves the Red Book with Elanor, and is said to have gone to the Grey Havens. (The Return of the King)

• Lord of the Rings: c. 3978 BC (IV 64 (SR 1484)). Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took leave the Shire and meet with King Eomer, with him when he dies; they then travel to Gondor, living out the remainder of their lives there. (The Return of the King)

• Lord of the Rings: c. 3920 BC (IV 120 (SR 1541)). King Elessar dies on March 1. Legolas and Gimli pass over the Sea. (The Return of the King)
