Biography

Ahmanet was a female Egyptian Princess who was born as the daughter of the ruling Pharaoh in the times of Ancient Egypt over 3,000 years ago. It was noted that her mother had died during her birth leaving her the only heir to the throne. Thus, when her father was set to pass away than it was deemed her destiny to inherit his position and rule over the lands of Egypt as a living god. However, his father had another child with a woman with this being a boy who was selected as the new heir to the throne. This angered Ahmanet who believed she was being denied her birthright which was when she decided that power needed to be taken and she sought revenge. This led to her willingly embracing the forces of evil in the world with her dedicating herself to Set who was the god of death. She made a pact with the deity who empowered her with dark magic with her vowing to unleash darkness onto the lands. This led to her first act being to enter her fathers bed chambers at night and murdered him with her similarly killing her newborn baby half-brother. With her goal complete, she sought to complete the remaining terms of the pact with Set who desired to be manifested onto the mortal world with Ahmanet ruling as his queen as they took their vengeance on humanity. Ahmanet was given the Dagger of Set and tasked with finding a 'chosen' mortal who would be his vessel on the Earth. Princess Ahmanet managed to find this person but before she could stab him with the dagger she was stopped and rendered unconscious by the Pharaoh's guards with her 'chosen' killed to prevent the ritual from being completed. For her sins, she was taken captive and mummified alive with her being encased in a sarcophagus that was to serve as her prison for life. It was decided to take the sarcophagus far from the lands of Egypt with a tomb being created to hold her known as Haram that was built underground in Mesopotamia. The sarcophagus holding her was encased in mercury that was to weaken Ahmanet who had been transformed into an undead mummy due to her pact with Set which prevented her from dying and thus this prison was designed to hold her for eternity with her being condemned to this eternal darkness. In the aftermath, the existence of Princess Ahmanet was wiped from the history records and knowledge of her was nearly forgotten. In 1217 A.D., knight Crusaders discovered the Dagger of Set and took the jewel in its hilt which they brought with them to England. Once there, they created a tomb for the knights underneath London where the jewel was kept with their leader. By the modern age, a monster hunter organization known as Prodigium formed which sought to eliminate supernatural threats hidden in the world. They became aware of the oldest evil that they had ever encountered which they determined was Ahmanet and sought to find this danger before anyone else. This led to their leader Dr. Henry Jekyll finding the research of Jenny Halsey who became fascinated at the discovery of this missing Egyptian princess that had been wiped from the history books. Thus, she joined the ranks of Prodigum due to having a shared interest and sought to find the lost tomb of Haram.

In 2017, the tomb had remained undiscovered as it now resided in the lands of modern age Iraq that was in the midst of conflict with terrorists and radicals ruling parts of the country. During this time, a retired U.S. Army reconnaissance sergeamt named Nick Morton was deployed to Iraq. He secretly serve as a soldier of fortune who along with his partner plundered historical sites that he sold on the black market and had air strikes to hide the thefts. Whilst in Iraq, he had a romantic encounter with Jenny Halsey where he discovered that she had found a tomb and stole her map. Alongside his friends Vail, they sought to find the tomb of Haram which was around a contested region with extremists. Morton had an airstrike called in to clear the region with him and Vail nearly killed until the militants departed the scene. At that moment, the land opened up to reveal the tomb with American troops moving in to secure the location under the direction of Halsey who had pursued Morton to retrieve her stolen property.

Powers and abilities

In her life, she was noted to had trained in martial arts as befitted her status as a royal heir to the Pharaoh. During that time, she came to learn mystical arts allowing her to use magic which was how she came to commune with the god of death. From that encounter, she was empowered by Set that made her more powerful and able to command the dark arts. This led to her transformation into one of the undead with her taking the form of a mummy that made her impervious to harm by ordinary means.
