History

The Amada Corporation was a Japanese created company that was formed by famed robotics genius, Dr. Yoji Amada. It was running by the mid-21st century during global climate changes when rising water levels necessitated the need to build structures above existing ones. This in turn saw the need for a robotic labor force which Dr. Amada was noted as the pioneer of the field. However, Alexander Bergen was believed to had stolen the newly developed technology and began selling his own robots in the American based Bergen Advanced Robotics Technology. An enraged Dr. Amada attempted to sue Bergen but lost the case and had to pay costs to his rival as a result. In the aftermath, Amada began working on new robotics research whilst the world created the New Geneva Convention in 2040 that banned robotics research in creating machines that mimicked Human beings. The Amada Corporation remained a powerful company in Japan where it allied itself with the New Order that espoused a belief in isolationism and had close ties with the Ministry of Homeland Affairs.

In 2080, the United States encountered a violation of Clause 21 of the New Geneva Convention when a Hollow Child was discovered. Alexander Bergen believed that the only person responsible for creating such an advanced AI was Yoji Amada himself. Thus, the United States president called upon the International Robotics Technology Association in Geneva to dispatch a Rust Crew with the task of apprehending Dr. Amada for a breach in the Geneva Code.

Background

Amongst the robots used by the Corporation included a Special Ops Unit of advanced combat models designated Shinobi.
