  • In Batman, the Bat-Signal had a minor appearance in the setting of the live-action television series.
  • In Batman: The Animated Series, the Bat-Signal appeared in the setting of the 1990s animated television series set in the DC Animated Universe where it was built by Commissioner Gordon in the episode "The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy".
  • In The Batman, initially the Bat-Signal did not appear with it instead replaced with the Bat-Wave in the setting of the animated television series.
  • In Harley Quinn, the Bat-Signal appeared in the setting of the animated television series start in the episode "You're a Damn Good Cop, Jim Gordon".
  • In Batwoman, the Bat-Signal appeared in the setting of the live-action television series set in the Arrowverse. Gotham City Mayor Michael Akins was planning to turn off the Bat-Signal forever due to Batman's disappearance.

In Batman, the Bat-Signal appeared in the setting of the 1989 live-action film. Batman gave it to the police as a gift after he defeated the Joker so that they could summon him when he was needed to stop crime in the city.

  • In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Bat-Signal appeared in the setting of the live-action film.
  • In Justice League, the Bat-Signal appeared in the setting of the live-action film sequel. Commissioner Gordon used it to call Batman along with Wonder Woman, The Flash and Cyborg when he needed their aid.

Video games

  • In DC Universe Online, the Bat-Signal appeared in the setting of the 2010 MMORPG where it was located on the top of the GCPD 9th station in the East End of Gotham.
  • In Injustice: Gods Among Us, the Bat-Signal appeared as a background item in the Gotham stage of the fighting video game.
