Ben Siddle

Ben Siddle was an English farmer who was known for talking to himself out loud. He was a regular at the White Lion, where due to the searing heat caused by the invading spider aliens he almost got into a fight with Lanky Robert after the latter would not stop talking about his time in India.
Night of the Big Heat (Film)
Ben Siddle is a sheep farmer living on Fara Island. Tinker Mason found him wandering around in a stupor, and took him to the Swan where he was looked at by Dr. Vernon Stone. He told Stone as well as Jeff Callum that all of his sheep were dead, but he had no idea from what. Later, Dr. Godfrey Hanson went to Ben's farm and found the sheep's corpses all blackened and burned.
