Jeff Callum
Jeff Callum was the owner and operator of the Swan, the local inn and tavern on Fara Island, along with his wife Frankie Callum. His marriage to Frankie was almost wrecked by his secretary Angela Roberts, whom Jeff had an undeniable affection for. Not helping matters was the inexplicable heatwave that hit Fara in the middle of one of the United Kingdom's coldest winters. When several of the Swan's customers began dying from heat stroke and other heat-related tragedies, Jeff confronted Dr. Godfrey Hanson, mistakenly believing that the visiting scientist was somehow responsible. Instead, he learned from Hanson that the heat was being caused by an invading race of aliens, who were using Fara Island as their base of operations. Together with local physician Dr. Vernon Stone, Jeff and Hanson were able to stop the invasion.
