Blade (If Looks Could Kill)
Blade was the codename of British Intelligence's best secret agent. His real name was not known. He did, however, have a daughter, Mariska. He was assigned to investigate the deaths of European finance ministers, and discovered that the culprit was Augustus Steranko. Before he could alert his superiors, he learned of Steranko's intentions to kill the next finance minister Jacques Lefevre.
Leaving the evidence of Steranko's duplicity with Mariska, Blade rushed to the Chatteau Richelieu to try and save Lefevre. He arrived too late to help him, and after defeating Zigesfeld and a guard he confronted Steranko and his assistant Ilsa Grunt. During the ensuing confrontation, he was killed when Ilsa unfurled her necklace into a whip and used it to break Blade's neck. He and Lefevre were then put into Lefevre's car together and their murders disguised as a car accident. Mariska swore revenge for her father.
