Braun was a hired thug working for Franz Sanchez, Braun was one of Sanchez's most-trusted underlings. Unlike his companions Dario and Perez, who he helped kill Felix Leiter's wife Della, Braun was silent, never uttering a word. He had a scar on his cheek and mostly stuck close to Sanchez. Also unlike the other two, he was not of Hispanic descent, being in fact German, and wanted in his native country for murder. He died when the pickup truck he was driving (with Perez riding shotgun) went off a cliff during a high-speed automobile chase with James Bond.
