History
Overview
In appearance, Celareons are a race of energy beings whose origins are not truly known except that they spend their entire lives trapped within their mechanical containers. They are known to praise their mythical creators and possessed extremely advanced technology. This allows them to create artificial wormholes, a secret that is coveted by the insectoid Mantis. This is a source of much conflict between the two races, something that is against the peaceful nature of the Celareons who are only interested in the acquisition of knowledge.
The species do recognise the fact that they exist in a hostile universe and that they need to protect themselves. Though they are a unified race, there have been recent disagreements over the war against the Mantis. Some Celareons believe that peace should be made at any cost which means that they should hand over their knowledge of creating artificial wormholes to the Mantis though others state that the Mantis cannot be allowed to possess the technology as it would allow them to bypass the static wormhole network and strike directly at Celareon territory.
Celareon's do not make use of fighters but instead rely on their advanced warships and technology which appears crystalline in form.
