Commander Carter

Commander Carter was the commander of the US submarine Wayne, which took James Bond and Anya Amasova to search for and destroy Atlantis. En route they were captured by the Liparus and Carter was taken prisoner alongside Bond and his crew. However they escaped their confinement and freed the captive crews of other submarines, and stormed the Liparus, thwarting Karl Stromburg's plan for global armageddon. Carter survived the conflict.
