DI-7 was a powerful disinfectant developed by Xanatos Enterprises. A canister of the chemical was stolen by agents of Dominique Destine, who planned to magically combine it with the CV-1000 carrier virus. The resulting mixture, she determined, would scour Earth of all life except gargoyles (who were protected by the Praying Gargoyle. However, the combined virus' still-sealed vial was captured by Goliath.
