Death Guards

Death Guards are vicious, emotionless killing machines who serve as the guardians of Maax's temple. A Death Guard is made when a man is tortured to the point of insanity, then encased in deadly armor, and then has his all his blood drained and replaced with a mystical green liquid that makes his eyes glow and a leech is put into his ear. Death Guards are so insanely violent that they will brutally kill anything or anyone they encounter, whether they be friend or foe. This was most notably demonstrated when a newly-created Death Guard broke loose and ran amok through the temple, killing any allies that got in his way as he attempted to hunt down and kill the Beastmaster's ferrets, Codo and Podo.
