The Demon Realm (Japanese: 大魔界, Hepburn: Dai-makai, "Great Demon Realm")
Overview
Travelling outside of the Demon Realm into other areas of the multiverse outside world required the use of a special dimension operated by gargantuan, fish-like creatures, who have the ability to transport individuals to specific universes and points within them. To travel, one must present a four-digit PIN number of some sort to the fish, which will then engulf them, sending them to the dimension where they can choose a point of exit.
Namekians originate from the Demon Realm, which the majority of them moved away from long ago.
The King of the Demon Realm (魔界の王 makai no ō) / (魔ま界かい王おう Makaiō, "King of the Demon World") was a title given to rulers of the Demon Realm, acting as a sort of equivalent to the Kai.

- In Dragon Ball Online, the Demon Realm appeared in the setting of the MMORPG video game. A female demon named Towa who was the sister of Dabura and served as a brilliant scientist from the Demon Realm far in the future. She proceeded to create and ally with Mira - the 'savior'; an artificial being created by condensing the DNA of various strong fighters with the support and technology of Dr. Gero. After joining up with Mira, Towa betrayed the Demon Realm and went out on her own. Despite this, Towa plans on collecting enough energy to break the seal on the Demon Realm, and additionally seeks to eradicate the Saiyan bloodline because she considers it a threat. She and Mira have a son named Fu, who is said to have a big influence on the world when he grows up.
