Destroyo
Destroyo was a sinister armored supervillain. As a young boy, Leonid Kusparov Destroyovitch studied ballet under the great Stanisloff, and the only thing he loved more in the world than to dance was sweets. Against Stanisloff's advanse, Leonid ate himself until he was too fat to dance, and was laughed at and taunted by everyone because he looked "like a beachball in tights."
This drove him to become the villainous Destroyo. After slimming himself up, Destroyo became one of the most infamous criminals in the City. He was caught by the Tick, Arthur and Batmanuel at the mall with several weapons in his car's trunk, including nuclear bombs capable of destroying the City ten times over, anthrax and "very strong rope." Exactly what Destroyo intended to do with these was never revealed, although he claimed they were "merely research" for a book he was writing, Give Me Money or I Will Destroy Your President.
In court, Destroyo acted as his own attorney, thereby allowing him to brag out loud about all of his crimes while not incriminating himself since it would be considered privilaged communication. Since the Tick and Arthur were vigilantes, Destroyo persuaded Judge Kenudson to rule all the evidence against him - i.e., the weapons from the trunk of his car - inadmissable. Outside of court, Destroyo was watched by Captain Liberty, and his efforts to drive her to kill herself by pointing out all her problems backfired on him when he became her unwitting psychiatrist.
Eventually, Destroyo's dark past as a ridiculed and bullied little boy is what became his undoing, as Arthur and Batmanuel contacted Stanisloff and learned Destroyo's history. When Arthur took the stand, he goaded Destroyo into attacking him and exposing his true nature by holding up the villain's former ballet slippers and telling him to, "Dance, fat boy, dance!"
