Dr. Bechmann.

Dr. Bechmann was one of the two scientists responsible for creating the submarine tracking system for Karl Stromburg. Despite offering his "profound thanks", Stromburg opted to kill Bechmann and his colleague Professor Markovitz by blowing them up in their helicopter in lieu of paying them.

Comments

In Christopher Wood's novelization of The Spy Who Loved Me, Bechmann and Markovitz are not killed by Stromburg.
