History

The Dresden Slate (ドレスデン石盤) was a mysterious relic that existed on Earth whose origins were largely unknown though legends claim it was brought to St. John's Church from Bohemia where it was initially regarded as a holy artefact. At some point, it remained buried underground for a number of years until 1941 when its existence was uncovered due to rumours of a praying believer claiming that they had witnessed a miracle. In time, the Schutzstaffel (SS)'s Ahnenerbe took an interest in this claim and began to investigate the site at the church. Their digging led to their discovery of the Slate which went into their custody and they began to study it in the hope that it would prove Aryan superiority through archaeological findings on the relic. Any religious interest in the Dresden Slate was thus abandoned as it became an object of scientific interest. At the research site, two scientists that were sent to investigate the Slate included Claudia Weismann and her younger brother Adolf K. Weismann.
