Biography

Eddy Gordo (Japanese: エディ・ゴルド, Hepburn: Edi Gorudo) was a Brazilian man born into one of the richest families in Brazil. Ever since he was a small boy, he knew he would one day take over the family business. When he was 19 years old, Eddy came home from school to find his father shot and dying. He recalled that his father had been unusually nervous and fearful in recent weeks. Eddy's father was working to destroy the drug cartel in Brazil at the time. His untimely death occurred just when he had obtained enough evidence to put the kingpins away for good. In his last breaths, Eddy's father told him, "Now is not the right time to fight. Falsely admit to the crime and hide in prison. Only there will you be safe". Eddy went along with his father's last wish and the model student went from a life of luxury to incarceration as a murderer. Prison life was hell and not a day went by that Eddy didn't vow to get even with his father's killers. One day during a prison riot, he watched an old man with great power fight using a technique he called Capoeira. For eight years, Eddy practiced until he became a master and could be considered a lethal weapon. Upon his release from prison, Eddy heard about the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 and the Mishima Zaibatsu. He decided to enter the tournament, believing he could persuade the MFE to help him seek his long-awaited revenge.

Eddy's master was set to be freed after a long prison sentence. However, his master had become a frail old man. This was not the master he once knew. Eddy had his master hospitalized. He was told that his master was terminally ill, but a cure might be possible with technology from the Mishima Zaibatsu. Upon taking his master to a hospital, Eddy was told his master had an incurable illness and had less than six months to live. However, it may be possible to discover a cure if they had access to the technology and resources of the Mishima Zaibatsu.

Eddy failed to win The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. He pleaded with Jin, who had become the new head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, to help him save his mentor. After a moment's contemplation, Jin agreed to help develop a medical treatment for Eddy's mentor in exchange for Eddy joining the Tekken Force and reporting to him. Eddy knew nothing about the Tekken Force, other than it was a private military outfit, but agreed to join if it meant saving his master. Eddy became a member of the Tekken Force and carried out plans of destruction around the world. Even though he knew the consequences of his actions, Eddy was unable to leave the Tekken Force. When the Mishima Zaibatsu announces The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6, Eddy enters the tournament as a member of the Tekken Force in order to eliminate those who would threaten Jin.

Eddy Gordo went to G Corporation to exact revenge on Kazuya Mishima for murdering his father. After he had taken out a crowd of guards, a young girl in a strange outfit stood before him, and struck a pose. Confused and irritated by her appearance and disrespectful tone, but aware of the threat she posed, Eddy prepared to fight.
