History
Original
The Evil Warriors were a group of beings that were gathered under the banner of Skeletor and aided him in his goal of conquering Eternia.
Skeletor summoned Beast Man, Mer-Man, Evil-Lyn, and Tri-Klops to Snake Mountain to demonstrate the power of the Diamond Ray of Disappearance by vanishing a stone statue. Trap Jaw then led an aerial assault on the Royal Palace of Eternos, where he fired laser blasts at the structures before He-Man intercepted his vehicle and threw it into the palace gardens. Skeletor used the diamond to vanish King Randor, Queen Marlena, Man-At-Arms, and the Sorceress, transporting them into a timeless dimension. Following this, the Evil Warriors accompanied Skeletor to Castle Grayskull, where Skeletor used a grappling hook and his Havoc Staff to scale the walls and enter the fortress. Inside the castle, the warriors engaged in combat against He-Man and Battle Cat. He-Man physically overpowered Mer-Man and Beast Man by throwing them through the air, while Orko defeated Tri-Klops by spinning the villain's mechanical visor until he became disoriented. As Teela and Ram Man arrived to provide reinforcements, He-Man used the Power Sword to deflect the diamond's energy beam back at the gem, causing it to shatter. With the diamond destroyed and the prisoners returned to Eternia, the Evil Warriors retreated from the castle and returned to Snake Mountain. (Episode: The Diamond Ray of Disappearance)
Later on, Skeletor, Beast Man, and Evil-Lyn stood outside Castle Grayskull and attempted to breach the fortress while a sentient comet passed overhead. Evil-Lyn used her magic to harness the comet's energy and forced the castle's Jawbridge to open, only for the group to be confronted by He-Man and Man-At-Arms. During the ensuing altercation, He-Man grabbed both Beast Man and Evil-Lyn and threw them into a nearby mud puddle. Following this failed attempt, the Evil Warriors returned to Snake Mountain where Skeletor and Evil-Lyn successfully cast a spell to seize control of the Cosmic Comet's consciousness. Skeletor directed the comet to fire energy bolts at Zagraz Mountain, which manifested as rock monsters to attack the heroes. Once the heroes reached the Comet Keeper’s residence, Skeletor commanded the comet to launch a final assault directly at Castle Grayskull. Skeletor and his warriors watched as the comet sped toward the fortress, but they were forced to flee when the wizard Zagraz released a second comet that collided with the first and neutralized its power. 2000 series
Keldor came to assemble a band of warriors to serve him as they looked to conquer Eternia and install him to the throne. This led to a surprise attack against the Council of Wisdom and a conflict with Captain Randor along with his guards. At first, Keldor was seemingly defeated when he was disarmed but he used this as an opportunity for a surprise attack to throw a vial of acid at Randor. This though bounced off his shield and splashed onto Keldors face eating away at it. Beast Man came to save Keldor and the Evil Warriors were forced to retreat to the dark side of Eternia. Whilst there, the Heroic Warriors along with the Sorceress helped established the Mystic Wall thus separating Eternia between the Light and Dark Hemisphere. In this time, Evil-Lyn took the injured Skeletor to Hordak's Sanctum where he begged the entrapped mystical warlord to save him so that he could continue with his conquest of Eternia. Hordak's disembodied spirit stated that such a deal would involve a price to which Keldor agreed. Magic then enfused Keldor that transformed him turning his head into a skeletal form as he was given the name Skeletor. In this state, Skeletor then returned to his stronghold at Snake Mountain where he plotted for many years to break the Mystic Wall and resume his conquest of Eternia. Ultimately, he found a means to do so which involved finding the Coradite crystal. Dispatching Mer-Man for the task, the crystal was used to power a device that fired on the Mystic Wall. The weapon did not shatter the wall but rather created enough damage that allowed the Evil Warriors to break it with their combined might. With the Wall shattered, the Evil Warriors now had access to the Light Hemisphere and set out on their long awaited goal of ruling Eternia. At first, Skeletor in disguise sought to find the fate of the Council of Wisdom only to learn that they had vanished since his last encounter. Instead, the lands were ruled by Randor who had been elevated to the status of king and ruled the lands fairly. Thus, Skeletor looked to achieve his long planned revenge against King Randor for both his disfigurement and earlier defeat.
The Evil Warriors then lay siege to the castle thus battling against the heroes protecting it. Skeletor himself fought against King Randor and defeated him where he took him away. The Evil Warriors were then confronted by a new foe named He-Man where Evil-Lyn caused a meteor shower to destroy their enemies. However, He-Man managed to protect his comrades causing the Evil Warriors to flee the scene. Meanwhile, Skeletor looked to torture Randor in order to find the power of the Elders. Randor though did not know what happened to them or the power they once possessed. Skeletor was interrupted by the arrival of He-Man who battled the overlord of evil to save the king. Despite Skeletors power, he was unable to best the hero but he looked to gain an advantage by causing Randor to fall into a lava pool. This allowed Skeletor to flee the battle whilst He-Man saved the king. The Evil Warriors then regrouped back on the Dark Side of Eternia at Snake Mountain as they planned their next course of action. In the aftermath, Skeletor looked to learn more about the mysterious He-Man and sought to track him down.
