The Eye of Harmony was a black hole that was harnessed by Rassilon to become a power source to be used by the society of the Time Lords. In time, it came to be regarded as a myth to the inhabitants of Gallifrey. (Episode: The Deadly Assassin)
Overview
It was said that Rassilon had stabilised the elements of the black hole and set an eternally dynamic equation in line with the mass of Gallifrey. (Episode: The Deadly Assassin)
Each T.A.R.D.I.S. came to have a Eye of Harmony within its heart and served as a power source that allowed the machines to travel through time. (Movie: Doctor Who)
