Origin

The Faceless Hunter from Strange Adventures v1 #124.

A number of Faceless Hunters accompanied Jemm from Saturn to New Krypton after the inhabitants of that world began re-arranging the system to suit their own needs. Jemm placed threats and demands on the Kryptonians for their thoughtless actions which led to a fight between both sides. The Faceless Hunters supported Jemm in fighting the Kryptonians until the fight was broken up by Superman.

The New 52

Their homeworld of Klaramar was situated in the Microverse with the Faceless Champions guarding their throneworld and their culture after most of the natives had left for Saturn. (Justice League of America v5 #15)

Overview

They were known for their telepathic treasures with one creation of theirs being psychokinetic mapping technology and psychoscopes. (Justice League of America v5 #15)

  • The Faceless Hunters were created by Gardner Fox and Mike Sekowsky where they made their first appearance in Strange Adventures v1 #124 (January 1961).

In other media

Television

  • In Batman: The Brave and the Bold animated series, the character made an appearance as a villain starting in the episode "Clash of the Metal Men!" where he was voiced by John DiMaggio.
