The Go-Ahead was a balloon designed and built by Uncle Prudent and Phillip Evans of the Weldon Institute. On its maiden flight, it was attacked by Robur's second Albatross, and Prudent and Evans were forced to go higher than was considered safe in order to evade the great airship. Past a certain altitude, the balloon of the Go-Ahead burst and the dirigible plummeted to earth. Prudent and Evans would've died had not Robur used the Albatross to rescue them and their pilot.

Master of the World (1961 film)

The Go-Ahead experimental two-propeller balloon, with one propeller in front and one in back, manufactured by Prudent's company, belonging to the Weldon Balloon Society of Philadelphia. John Strock enlisted its services to go and investigate the Great Eyrie in Morganton. He was accompanied by Prudent, his daughter Dorothy and Dorothy's fiance Phillip Evans, who acted as pilot. It was shot down by the Albatross and crashed into the crater of the Eyrie. Strock and his party all survived, and were captured by Robur.
