Biography
Pre-Crisis
Keith Kenyon
Post-Crisis
He came to move to Central City where in his first year there he met Amunet Black where he was attracted to her with this being reciprocated by her. Kenyon learnt that she was a notable crime lord who was known as the Blacksmith and she headed the lucrative underground black market called the Network. The two eventually embarked on a romance with them quickly marrying but differences resulted in them divorcing shortly afterwards. He attempted to convince her to leave the life of crime behind but Amunet refused to do so and came to believe her ex-husband intended to get a place in the Network. She then had help from some of the Rogues to steal the elixir from Kenyon which she used to give herself Metahuman powers. (Flash v2 #186)
After being freed, he seemingly fled the fight thus leaving the Flash to die at the hands of the Rogues. (Flash v2 #187) However, in reality, he had gone to rally the common citizens of Keystone City to rise up against the Network taking over the city. This allowed them to turn the tide against the Blacksmith thus seeing her criminal organisation being taken down. In desperation, Amunet fled to the Van Buren bridge where she intended to destroy it but it repaired by the Flash who pushed the Blacksmith onto a waste barge allowing her to be captured. With her defeat, the Network was dismantled and the people of Keystone celebrated the victory as Kenyon proved himself to be an ally working to protect the city. (Flash v2 #188)
