Biography

Origin

Cole Cash was a male human born in the modern age as the son of Jason Winston Cash and Sylvia Cash where he had a brother named Max Cash.

From a young age, Cole Cash took part in his con man father Jacob Winston "Win" Cash's various grifts until Cole witnessed his father's apparent murder at the hands of mobster Sam Del Gracci.

Afterwards, his mother went on to marry Del Gracci who came to regularly beat the young Cole.

In contrast, he came to dote on Cole's younger brother Max.

As a teenager, Cole ran away from home and became the getaway driver for a crew of robbers.

When his fellow criminals turned violent, Cole intervened and came to save the life of F.B.I. agent Joseph Brockmeyer.

Though apprehended, Cole was given a choice by Brockmeyer where he could either join the clandestine agency known as International Operations or go to jail.

This saw Cole joining the ranks of I.O. where he received training from Marc Slayton.

At some point, Cole may have been a part of the Army's Special Forces.

Post-Flashpoint

Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality as created with a different history of events.

He came to be hired as a bodyguard by Lucius Fox who kept him on retainer to protect him along with his family after the Joker War. At this time, Batman arrived at Fox's residence with Grifter fighting him with this being stopped by Lucius. Grifter apologised but he wanted to use the encounter to briefly fight the fabled Dark Knight. After the meeting, Batman told Grifter that he was aware of his true employer at Halo and that he would be watching them to prevent them from doing anything malicious in Gotham City.
