Biography
Origin
Cynthia Reynolds
Claire Montgomery came to recruit her for a corporate superhero team called the Conglomerate that was headed by Booster Gold. (Justice League Quarterly v1 #1)
Afterwards, she decided to re-invent her look as she grew tired from people commenting on them. Martian Manhunter by this point had tracked her down and wanted to recruit her for a mission though Gypsy was reluctant after the death of her parents. He convinced her though by offering her a job and place to stay with her being convinced when he paid for some new clothes for herself. (Justice League Task Force v1 #1)
As a member of the Justice League Task Force, she came to help Bruce Wayne in finding Shondra Kinsolving and Jack Drake. (Justice League Task Force v1 #5)
Post-Flashpoint
Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events. Cynthia Mordeth was an inhabitant of the world of Piradell that was said to had been one of the most peaceful places in the Multiverse. (Justice League of America's Vibe v1 #10)

Personality and attributes
Another incarnation had her father being Quell Mordeth who had been the ruler of the world of Piradell. He came to be a living tear between dimensions forcing him to wear a containment suit where he went by the name of Breacher. (Justice League of America's Vibe v1 #9)
Powers and abilities
Her powers of illusion casting allowed her to blend into her background effectively making her invisible. (Justice League of America v1 #259)
Her chameleon-like ability and psychic sensitivity made her a valuable asset on a team. (Justice League Quarterly v1 #1)

- Gypsy was created by Gerry Conway and Chuck Patton where she made her first appearance in Justice League of America Annual v1 #2 (October, 1984).

Television
- In Justice League Unlimited, Gypsy had a cameo appearance as a background character in the animated television series set in the DC Animated Universe.
- In The Flash, Gypsy appeared in the live-action television series set in the Arrowverse where she was portrayed by actress Jessica Camacho. Her real name was Cynthia with her being a native to Earth-19 in the Multiverse where she operated as a bounty hunter that apprehended inter-dimensional criminals. She served in the agency with her father Breacher being her boss and she was assigned on various missions to apprehend criminals.

- In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, an alternate version of the character named Fortuneteller appeared in the animated film in a non-voiced role where she was shown as being a member of the Crime Syndicate of Amerika.
