History
Hank Henriette (Japanese: ハンク・ヘンリエット, Hepburn: Hanku Henrietto) was a male human who came to live on the continent of Patria. As such, he was a citizen of the Northern Union of Patria where as a child he lived in a town run by the Bluelake family. However, he lost his memories of his early life when the South attacked and razed the town. His first memory from that moment on was being pulled from the rubble of his house by the town's only other survivor which was Elaine Bluelake. She came to give him a new name and he followed her around while she tried to carve out an existence for herself and the other war orphans. For a time, things were peaceful until Elaine was scouted by the Church that was a learning institution for young geniuses. She agreed to join them on the condition that Hank accompany her where he was provided rooming on the campus. During that time, the two came to befriend Cain Withers who had also joined the institute where the three of them bonded due to them all being war orphans.
As an adult, Hank decides to join the army and contribute to bringing peace to Patria in order to become independent as soon as possible and not continue to rely on Elaine and Cain's aid. He accepted Cain's arrangement and entered the military academy to devote himself to training, but he never went to the front line until the North was in trouble. Before leaving for the battlefield, Hank wrote to Elaine saying that he was well adapted to the rigorous training at the military academy and that the date he was going to the front line had been confirmed. Even though he was training in drills when the war in the north was not going well, Hank bet that Cain would use his connections to keep him from getting deployed going to the front line. Hank said that he still couldn't remember his memories of Elaine and Cain before they met, and he hoped that Elaine would remember the memories after they met. He said that their hometown, Cain's deceased mother, and people who have experienced the same thing as them should not be added. He said that he would try his best to end the war and meet with Elaine and Cain again, and asked Elaine to take care of herself.
Hank Henriette arrived in a town where he encountered a young woman named Schaal who was attempting to shoot him. He disarmed her and engaged in a conversation regarding her father, a former Incarnate soldier whom Hank had previously killed. He proceeded to hunt a massive, monstrous entity known as a Centaur that was terrorizing the local area. During the confrontation, Hank utilised a large, specialized harpoon gun to tether the creature and used his physical strength to restrain it. He then drew a large combat knife and climbed onto the beast to deliver a fatal strike to its neck, executing it according to a previous oath. After the creature's death, he stood over the body and recited a prayer for the fallen soldier. He then spoke with Schaal again, explaining his role as a hunter of Incarnates who had lost their humanity, before departing the town on foot to continue his objective of locating and eliminating other remaining Incarnate soldiers.
