Biography

Harold Joseph Hogan

Whilst watching the fight, he could see that Iron Man was struggling against his Russian foe. The armoured hero managed to last for a brief respite where he quickly departed the battlefield and returned to speak to Happy. He told Happy to find Countess De La Spiroza who had stolen a transistor made by Stark that was a critical component for the fight. Hogan managed to track her down where he recovered it and arrived back at the battlefield only to be too late as the fight had begun. He decided to enter into the arena despite Pepper’s plea and came to believe that she did genuinely love him. Happy attempted to give the transistor to Iron Man who tried to shield him from Titanium Man’s attack. However, he failed to stop an attack from partially hitting Happy who was seemingly fatally wounded as a result. (Tales of Suspense v1 #70)

Unknown to anyone, he had a son named Jamie Carlson who was accidentally exposed to gamma radiation causing him to become the Teen Abomination during his teenage years. Tony Stark came to learn the truth about the boy's parentage after a DNA analysis and decided to help him as Happy was said to be one of the few people he cared about in the world. (Superior Iron Man v1 #5)
