Hauler

Hauler was a robot that accompanied Cliffjumper and Ratchet when they went to retrieve a fallen Hound shortly after the Transformers reawakened in 1984. It was adapted to resemble an Earth crane truck, and hauled Hound back to the Ark.

Comments

It is never made clear if Hauler is another Transformer, or if he is an automated drone like Roller. Some fans speculate that Hauler is one and the same as Grapple, who has an identical vehicle mode and color scheme. A Transformers toy named Load Hauler, released in Japan in 2003, is intended to be the same character as Hauler.
