Helicopter Pilot (Slimer)

This American helicopter pilot worked for the Brinkstone Oil Company. He was from Texas. He and his fellow pilot Mike were sent to the Atlantic oil rig that housed the secret Phoenix Project facilities to learn why Brinkstone had lost contact with the scientists there. The two landed, went inside, and split up. The pilot encountered the dying Charlie, in the last stages of fatal heroin withdrawal. Charlie overpowered the pilot and implanted his Phoenix genes into the unfortunate man. The genes transformed the pilot into a perfect copy of Charlie, and the mutant was thus able to abandon its original, heroin-addicted body to die. It was in the former pilot's body that Charlie had its final confrontation with Paul Latham and Linda Warner aboard the Brinkstone helicopter.
