Origin
The Hellions were a team of teenage Mutants that were recruited by the powerful telepath Emma Frost. She came to train in the use of their powers during her time at the Hellfire Club where the Hellions were based at her private school at the Massachusetts Academy. (New Mutants v1 #17)
House of X
Following the establishment of Krakoa, the living island came to serve as an independent Mutant nation. They came to be capable of resurrecting deceased Mutants using the Resurrection Protocols stored in Cerebro. This saw the various slain members of the Hellions being resurrected where they came to reside on the Mutant island. (Hellions v1 #1)
