Biography
Hermes Diaktoros was a male god of the race of Olympians that inhabited the realm of Olympus. (Thor v1 #129)
During the Trojan War, it was known that Hermes passed messages to the gods on the different warring sides. (Thor Annual v1 #8)
He then travelled to Seoul in South Korea in order to meet with Zeus after he had taken the guise of a mortal celebrity called Storm. Hermes came to report that Hercules had stolen several treasures from Olympus including the Helm of Hades that made him invisible to even the Skyfather's sights. Thus, the messenger of the gods was dispatched to see if he could find his son the Prince of Power. For this task, he sought information from his last whereabouts leading to him meeting with Dionysis and Hebe. From them, he learnt that ever since Hercules return that he had been turned mortal amongst the gods which caused him to fall into a depression but he came to hear prayers for aid that were driving him insane. This caused him to steal relics from Olympus an travelling to the mortal world to the land of Brooklyn. Travelling there, he came to aid Hercules who was fighting the criminal activities of Mister Negative who along with his Inner Demons were attempting to abduct a family. (Herc v1 #6.1)
Zeus then commanded Hermes to seek help but before he could depart Hypnos caused him to slumber by using his sands on him. In this helpless state, the messenger of the Olympian gods was then murdered with a dagger used by the son of Nyx. (Avengers: No Road Home v1 #2)
