She came to dispatch her Amazons to find and slay Venus who was residing at U.C.L.A. (Champions v1 #1)
When the threat of the Doom Maidens emerged, Hela came to resurrect Hippolyta to be her champion where she took the name of Warrior Woman. The pair went to warn Asgardia leading to Hippolyta joining Brunnhilde's nascent Valkyries that were being formed to combat the maidens. (Fearless Defenders v1 #3) Alongside Brunnhilde, Misty Knight and Annabelle Riggs, the four went to Harrowpoint Island in order to rescue Danielle Moonstar who had been taken by the Doom Maidens. (Fearless Defenders v1 #4)
Hippolyta began rebuilding the Amazon people at a site that she called New Amazonia. (Fearless Defenders v1 #11)
Overview
Personality and attributes
Hippolyta considered the Amazon people her people and family where she intended to forge a mighty nation for them. This she did so as an act of love rather than on any behalf of warmongering gods. (Fearless Defenders v1 #11)
Upon her resurrection, she owed each of the Death-Lords a boon that she believed were the Twelve Labors of Hippolyta. To Hela, she had to stand against the Doom Maidens and to Pluto she had to vow to rebuild the ranks of the Amazons though this was always her intention but she intended to do it according to her terms. The other death gods she owed but the nature of their terms was unknown to her. However, they intended for Hippolyta to replace her deceased father Ares and take his vacant throne into being a war god whose fury would bolster their ranks. (Fearless Defenders v1 #11)
Powers and abilities
After her resurrection, the collective death gods gave Hippolyta further powers which included the gift of flight. (Fearless Defenders v1 #4) The Death-Lords had given her other gifts as well such as increased strength, speed and invulnerability. (Fearless Defenders v1 #11)

In other media
Television
- In The Marvel Super Hero Hour, she made an appearance in The Mighty Thor segment. Her storyline in the episode followed that of her original appearance in the comics where she was the Queen of the Amazons who was formerly involved with Hercules who spurned her afterwards. She would enter into the service of Pluto who was seeking to be free of being the custodian of the netherworld by seeking to trick an immortal to sign the Olympian Contract that passed the custody to them. To accomplish this feat, Pluto decided to target Hercules and disguised himself as a movie director in order to trick Hercules by appealing to his vanity of having a movie of himself. Hippolyta would disguise herself as an actress that caught Hercules attention and he was distracted to the point that he signed the contract whereupon both Pluto as well as Hippolyta revealed their true selves.
