History
The House of Vampires were a clan of vampires that operated on Earth from the shadows.
In this time, Frost looked for information about the vampire god La Magra in an effort to attain ultimate power and to depose the rule of the Purebloods.
Inside, they find futuristic data banks and a grossly overweight and flatulent archivist, who reveals to Blade and Dr. Jensen the plans of the film’s baddie, evil vampire Deacon Frost. Frost has been using the archive to translate the the Book of Erebus, the vampire bible whose meaning had been long since forgotten. Frost was trying to enact a prophecy he found in the Bible, which would give him enough power to take over the world and bring an end to humans. Blade the sets out to try and stop Frost.
Overview
In appearance, the House of Erebus were a clan of vampires.
The House of Erebus was the ruling council of vampires.
A central relic held by the vampire house was the Book of Erebus that was the Vampire Bible.
Only members of the House of Erebus were allowed into the clans archives.
Similar to other houses, the clan was served by human Familiars who aided their masters in the hope that they would be turned into vampires.

- Pearl : a huge obese vampire that served as the archivist at the Erebus Archives. He aided in the translation of the Lost Pages of Erebus that concerned the Blood God La Magra.
Notes
- The House of Erebus reappeared in Blade: The Series as one of the twelve vampire houses, playing a minor role in the episode "Turn of the Screw". In keeping with the depiction in the film, the house was described as being "conservative".
