Biography
Arnold Munro
During this time, he became involved in a relationship with Phantom Lady where at first he did not want to get married as he Munro did not wish to settle down at this point. Unknown to him, Sandra Knight was pregnant with his child and she became despondent over being an unwed single mother. Aiding her at the time was All Pratt who offered his own name as a contact as she went to the home for unwed mothers. The nurse there mistakenly believed Pratt was the father to the child who was taken in by the home where he was given the name of Walter Pratt as Sandra gave her son away for adoption. (Manhunter v3 #23) At some point, he got married but the relationship was a disaster that led to an eventual divorce. After the war, he was recruited by a branch of the Office of Strategic Services known as Argent where he once again met Sandra Knight. The agency paired the two together on several missions where they became lovers with them getting married in Monaco. Their relationship was filled with them quarrelling as they were set to battle Baron Blitzkreig who had escaped the fall of Germany and had begun to work with the Soviet Union. During one mission, Phantom Lady was captured by the Baron who revealed that she was pregnant with Arn Munro's child. She was a captive for months where she gave birth to the child that was taken from her whilst she was recovered. (Damage v1 #11)

Powers and abilities
It was shown that he was capable of incredible bursts of speed and could perform amazing acts of acrobatics. Munro also possessed great strength allowing him to stop a moving vehicle with his bare hands. This same strength allowed him to perform incredible leaps and jumps over great distances. It was noted that his skin was also durable and able to survive encounters that would injury normal humans. (Young All-Stars v1 #1)

- Iron Munro was created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, Michael Bair and Brian Murray where he made his first appearance in Young All-Stars v1 #1 (June, 1987).
- In Superman v1 #710 (2011), it was shown that as a young boy, Clark Kent had read the comic adventures of Iron Munro.
