By this point, Sandra Knight was pregnant with his child and she became despondent over being an unwed single mother. Aiding her at the time was Al Pratt who offered his own name as a contact as she went to the home for unwed mothers. The nurse there mistakenly believed Pratt was the father to the child who was taken in by the home where he was given the name of Walter Pratt as Sandra gave her son away for adoption. (Manhunter v3 #23)

After the war, she came to be an agent for the Office of Strategic Services and came to work for the division known as Argent. In this time, she was re-united with Iron Munro when the agency paired the two agents together. They took part in several missions where they became lovers with them getting married in Monaco with their relationship being filled with them quarrelling. The two were then deployed to battle Baron Blitzkrieg who had escaped the fall of Germany and had begun to work with the Soviet Union. During one mission, Phantom Lady was captured by the Baron who revealed that she was pregnant with Arn Munro's child. She was a captive for months where she gave birth to the child that was taken from her whilst she was recovered. (Damage v1 #11)
