Biography

Jackie Estacado

On the night of his 21st birthday, his powers came to manifest as he inherited the abilities of the Darkness. (The Darkness v1 #1)

Going to the Statue of Liberty, he was knocked out and taken underground where he was confronted by the Brotherhood of Darkness who explained to him about the supernatural force Jackie now wielded. (The Darkness v1 #2)

As a mob enforcer, it was said that he was completely immoral. (The Darkness v1 #1)

His Uncle Frank was the one person he used to care about during his time as a mob enforcer. (The Darkness v1 #2)

One of his ancestors was Miguel Estacado who lived 5 centuries ago where he had a dream of ruling the world. He was responsible for founding the Brotherhood of Darkness from among his followers that were made to enact this plan where they would rule the world as gods. (The Darkness v1 #2)

Powers and abilities

Though born a normal human, Jackie Estacado was part of an ancient bloodline where a long time ago one of his ancestors became the first mortal to wield the Darkness. This was a power that had been on Earth forever that required a human wielder to use it. The Darkness was said to had be an entity of chaos and wild abandon that had the power of creation where it take any shape or form any entity from shadows. (The Darkness v1 #2)

When he was 21 years old, he came to inherit the supernatural power of the Darkness. (The Darkness v1 #1)
