Joker Putty is a chemical that features in The Batman.

History

Joker Putty was a chemical creation of the Joker for use in his various crime sprees at Gotham City. During his trial run with it, he managed to use it on a van that allowed him to bounce away in it. The Joker's goal with the use was to remake Gotham's trademark statue in his image. (Episode: The Rubber Face of Comedy)

After Ethan Bennett was held captive by Joker, the Joker Putty was accidently dropped on the floor when Batman came to rescue the detective. Though not directly exposed, he did inhale the fumes and after returning home he discovered that his body began adopting a clay-like quality leading to his path to villainy as the criminal called Clayface. (Episode: The Clayface of Tragedy)

Overview

This chemical was able to impart any object with a rubbery aspect upon contact. (Episode: The Rubber Face of Comedy)

It had a dangerous effect on exposure to humans as even the simple green fumes from the compound were capable of inducing mutagenic changes to a person. This included transforming the individual (Episode: The Clayface of Tragedy)
