Kamran Shah.

Kamran Shah was the Oxford-educated leader of the Mujahadin resistence against the Soviets in Afghanistan. He was captured and imprisoned on Colonel Feyador's airbase, but freed by James Bond and Kara Milovy. In return, he and his men helped Bond storm the base and stop General Koskov from escaping with a shipment of opium, during which time Shah killed Feyador by blowing him up in a gasoline tanker. The Mujahadin were soon sent packing by a pair of Soviet armored cars however, but Shah and his men were saved by Bond who dropped a bomb on the Russians from a cargo plane flying overhead.
